The ASHSTACK 1012 has the following capacity:

Load & Stack 8x4x3 bales in single row (6 bales) or double row (12 bales)

The revolutionary design of the ASHSTACK 1012 involves a clamp mechanism situated on the side of the machine that picks up the bales on the long side (not on the ends as is common practice). This eliminates the need to rotate bales on the ground before retrieval, which reduces contamination of the bale with ground refuse. Importantly, it also means the ASHSTACK 1012 can follow the direction of the baler, enabling bales to be immediately retrieved and stacked as they leave the baler, generating efficiencies in time and reducing the risk of damage to the bale through increased exposure to the elements.
The capacity of the ASHSTACK 1012 to follow the direction of the baler enables it to be used in Tramline Farming, Raised Bed Farming, and in irrigation channels.
The ASHSTACK 1012 is able to pick up bales either ON or OFF the string, and will stack the bales either ON or OFF the string. This means that while 8x4x4 bales can be stacked off the string (as is customary practice), 8x4x3 bales can be stacked on the string (ie on the wide side) for greater stability.
The ASHSTACK 1012 is Semi-Automatic: Bale retrieval is fully automated. The final Stacking of the Bales is manual to allow greater operator control.
